Your area of work:D7 is the platform of Clearstream that offers innovative services to its customers for the issuance of financial securities such as shares, warrants and funds. In other words without the Issuance services, there would be nothing to trade on the German financial market, and the supply will get short for the international markets too. The D7 IT Team develops the next-generation software that enables our business colleagues and customers to boost volume and processing efficiency and as a result to increase revenue and decrease operational costs. As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing new and existing components in order to fulfil the functional and technical requirements. The components need to support fail-over, be highly scalable, secure and resilient under heavy load. You will be involved in all the aspects of the SDLC starting with initial business requirements until the production deployment and including 2nd level production support.Your responsibilities:Understand the business requirements and how they fit into the current technical landscapeCreate technical design within a group of experts with strong focus on information security, scalability, performance and long-term maintainabilityEnsure that the solution and its implementation comply with the DBG SDLC standardsPlan and execute the transition from test into production contribute to 2nd level production supportStay open-minded and understand the broad context of implementing and operating software components in a highly regulated environmentYour profile:University degree in computer science3+ overall professional experience in ITHands-on experience with object-oriented language (preferably Java) and ideally Spring bootKnowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes, experience with GCP (or other cloud infra)Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)Overview of CI/CD conceptsExperience with Microservice architectureHighly analytical mind-set You are able to actively listen and quickly understand arguments and goals of different peopleExcellent communication skills You explain the IT topics in a manner understandable to people without an IT background. You do not hesitate to ask questions, express your doubts or kindly challenge ideas during discussions.
