Aapka Helper (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the website aapkahelper.in — a free toolkit of privacy-first tools for Indian citizens. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect (very little), how we use it, and your rights regarding it.

No registration or personal information is required to use any tool on Aapka Helper. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or Aadhaar number.

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g. which pages are visited, which tool is used most) through Vercel Analytics. This data cannot identify you personally and is used solely to improve our tools.

This is our most important commitment: your files never leave your device.

All file-based tools on Aapka Helper — including the Photo Compressor / Sarkari Photo Resizer — process your images entirely within your web browser using JavaScript running on your own device. No photo, document, or file is uploaded to our servers or any third-party server.

When you close or refresh the page, all uploaded data is immediately cleared from memory. We have no technical ability to access your photos — by design.

We use the following types of cookies:

• Analytics cookies — anonymous usage data via Vercel Analytics (no personal data)
• Advertising cookies — served by Google AdSense (see Section 5 below)

We do not use cookies to store your files, track your identity, or build personal profiles. You can disable cookies anytime in your browser settings.

Aapka Helper displays advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free operation of this site. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

• Show ads relevant to your interests based on your browsing history
• Measure ad performance and click-through rates
• Prevent the same ad from being shown too many times

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to aapkahelper.in and other websites. Google adheres to the Google Advertising Policies and the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.

Aapka Helper is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Vercel Analytics per their data retention policy.

Under applicable Indian law (IT Act 2000 and amendments) and global best practices, you have the right to ask what data we hold about you. Since we hold no personal data, the answer is: none. For AdSense-related data, your rights are governed by Google's privacy policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy when we add new tools or third-party services. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
