This role owns the operational backbone of HR across the employee lifecycle, payroll, compliance, systems, and benefits, while leading a team of HR operations professionals. The HR Operations Leader is the custodian of process integrity, statutory compliance, and operational excellence at scale Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Capability Building Lead, manage, and develop the HR Operations team Multi-Country HR Operations Own HR operations delivery across India, Philippines, and Indonesia — ensuring consistency in process and standards while accommodating local requirements Employee Lifecycle Management Own end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle — onboarding, confirmation, role changes, internal transfers, and exits — across all geographies Payroll & Statutory Compliance Own the monthly payroll process across all operating countries — inputs, validation, disbursement coordination, and reconciliation HR Systems & Data Own the HRMS across all geographies — configuration, data hygiene, access management, and utilisation HR Policies & Process Own the HR policy framework across geographies — ensuring policies are compliant with local law, current, and accessible to employees Skills & Experience 6-8 years of HR operations experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role managing a teamPrior experience managing HR operations across multiple geographies — Philippines exposure strongly preferredDeep knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory requirements — working knowledge of Philippines and Indonesia employment law is a significant advantageHands-on experience with HRMS platforms (Darwinbox, Keka, GreytHR, or similar) with multi-entity/multi-country configuration experienceStrong process orientation with the ability to build systems and SOPs, not just follow themComfortable navigating ambiguity in newer or smaller markets where processes may not yet be establishedExperience in a startup or scaling tech company preferred — someone who has built, not just maintainedStrong stakeholder management skills — this role interacts with local leadership, Finance, Legal, and external vendors across time zones
