Lead programmer Analyst Key ExpectationsOwn end-to-end technology delivery (System Analysis, Configuration, and Quality Assurance) for aligned benefits services or product lines.Provide technical leadership through high-level analysis, design oversight, and quality assurance sign-offs.Ensure smooth production deployments and stable transition of projects into operations.Mentor, coach, and develop Analysts and Senior Analysts to build strong technical capability.Balance client expectations, delivery timelines, quality, and resource constraints effectively.Required SkillsDeep technical expertise in benefits systems and service lines.Strong system analysis, configuration, and QA governance capabilities.Project and workload management skills.Strong stakeholder and client communication skills.Ability to lead, mentor, and coach technical teams.Strong documentation, risk management, and problem-solving skills.Expert in US Benefits administration – Health & Welfare domainEnd to end understanding of Files lifecycle including strong understanding of Payroll including CLP process Role Description The Lead Analyst – Technology has overall accountability for the technology work—system analysis, configuration, and quality assurance—of Alight’s proprietary benefits system for one or more aligned service or product lines, such as Health Management (HM). The role may support one or multiple clients based on business needs.The Lead Analyst is responsible for creating high-level and complex analysis, approving all system configurations, technical documentation, and testing outcomes, and ensuring alignment with client requirements and system capabilities. The role plays a critical governance function by signing off on production migrations, ensuring stability of newly released projects, and managing a smooth transition to operations for ongoing support.In addition, the Lead Analyst provides strong technical leadership by coaching and mentoring Senior Analysts and Analysts on quality, technology, and client-specific requirements. The role also involves coordinating with Project / Performance Team Managers to manage workload, address unplanned work, and ensure delivery commitments are met. Depending on business needs, the role may also include people management responsibilities. Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with clients to understand technical requirements, manage expectations, and guide analysis activities.Define and execute integrated system and testing strategies for aligned services.Perform high-level gap and impact analysis and delegate detailed analysis as appropriate.Oversee data conversion, interface strategy, and integration with Shared Services.Ensure maintenance of regression test plans and integration of test execution and quality.Lead deployment execution, production stabilization, and system abend monitoring.Drive precise technical documentation, including gap analysis and transition artifacts.Foster a collaborative and performance-driven team environment. Education:B.Tech (CS / IT / ECE) or MCA – mandatory ExperiencePrior experience with Alight / Aon / Wipro is an added advantageHealth or Retirement Domain experience preferredExperience in development and implementation of software solutionsStrong project management experience.
