Job / Role title-MRI Design EngineerMinimum Educational Qualification-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical engineering, Physics, or Mechanical EngineeringMinimum Years of Experience-10+ years in medical device design and development and at least 2 years in design of medical devices for MRI complianceResponsibilities and authorities: Lead the design and verification activities for MRI compliance of medical device.Key responsibilities include Design of electromechanical components for compliance to international standards/regulations for MRI compliance of medical devicesTest Strategy and compliance testing of the medical deviceInterface with internal and external partners for defining scope and tracking progress of work packages to be executed externallyTechnical:Mandatory Skill:In-depth knowledge of MRI PhysicsIn-depth knowledge of magnet designDesirable Skill: Electromagnetic simulationMandatory Skill:SolidWorksDesirable Skill: COMSOL simulation softwareMandatory Skill:In-depth understanding of ISO 14708-7 standard for Cochlear ImplantsDesirable Skill: Product Risk ManagementCommunication Skills:Interface with internal and external partners for work packagesPresentation skills for concepts and design reviews
