Financial assistance to rural households for constructing a pucca house with basic amenities.
Eligibility Criteria
- •Beneficiary must appear in the SECC (Socio-Economic Caste Census) 2011 data
- •Household must be houseless or living in a 0- or 1-room kutcha house
- •Priority: SC/ST, minorities, freed bonded labourers, families with disabled members
- •Must not own a pucca house anywhere in India
- •Beneficiary must have a MGNREGS job card or be willing to take unskilled labour
Required Documents
- •Aadhaar Card of all family members
- •BPL / SECC 2011 inclusion proof
- •Bank account details
- •MGNREGS job card (if applicable)
- •Caste certificate (for SC/ST applicants)
- •Photo of the existing kutcha house
Benefits & What You Get
₹1.20 lakh in plain areas and ₹1.30 lakh in hilly / North-East / IAP districts transferred in instalments directly to the beneficiary's bank account. Additionally, 90 days of MGNREGS wage support for unskilled work on the house, a toilet under Swachh Bharat Mission, and a clean cooking fuel connection under Ujjwala Yojana.
